Kentucky sophomore guard Jarrett LaRubbio is transferring, according to Jordan Rinard of Hustle Belt.
LaRubbio, a former three-star recruit and the No. 34 guard in the Class of 2014, will move closer to home and play for Miami (Ohio), according to Rinard. He starred at East Lakota High School, 35 minutes from the Miami (Ohio) campus.
LaRubbio saw time in just one game in 2015 after redshirting in his first season with the program. With juniors Nick Haynes and Ramsey Meyers holding the starting guard spots, LaRubbio would’ve had an uphill climb to find playing time with the Wildcats over the next two seasons.
