LEXINGTON, Ky. — Rupp Arena officially became the loudest indoor arena in the world Saturday night before No. 2 Kansas and No. 4 Kentucky tipped off.
A representative from the Guinness Book of World Records was on hand to record the noise, and at 126.4 dB, fans in Rupp Arena set the record.

Complimentary earplugs were placed in most seats for fans who didn’t want to brave the noise.
