Former Kentucky football great Craig Yeast’s son shocked people Monday night when he committed to Louisville.
Russ Yeast, a 3-star cornerback and former Kentucky commit from Greenwood, Ind., announced his decision on Twitter, much to the disappointment of Kentucky fans.

The 2017 prospect de-committed from Kentucky in June after being committed to the Wildcats for almost a year.
His father played four seasons at Kentucky and is fourth all-time in the SEC in catches (208). He is also ninth all-time in conference history in receiving yards with 2,899.
Despite his father’s legacy, Russ decided to start his own. The only question is which team his father will root for now when the Cardinals and Wildcats face one another.
