The 2016 USA Olympic men’s basketball team could feature a few players from Big Blue Nation.
Former Kentucky greats John Wall, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins were listed among the 30 finalists for the 2016 roster.

Davis was the Wooden Award winner, which is given to college basketball’s most outstanding player, during the 2011-12 season at Kentucky. He has emerged as one of the best players in the NBA this season, while averaging 22.8 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Wall was another one-and-done player in Lexington, Ky., and is doing Big Blue Nation proud in the NBA. Wall is one of the top point guards in the NBA and has averaged 20.3 points, 9.6 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game during his sixth season with the Washington Wizards.
Cousins was a consensus All-American during the 2009-10 season and has dominated with the Sacramento Kings. “Boogie” has averaged 25.9 points and 11.1 rebounds per game for the Kings this season.
