LEXINGTON, Ky. — A sign, quite literally, pointed to Lynn Bowden’s arrival on Saturday morning.
Bowden, Kentucky’s No. 1 signee in the 2017 class, was seen at the practice facility yesterday, but a UK spokesperson confirmed that his status with the team was unchanged. Bowden’s delay in joining the team is an eligibility issue with the NCAA clearinghouse, coach Mark Stoops said last week.
He does have a spot at Kentucky’s fan day, though.

Bowden was the No. 4 athlete in the 2017 class. Despite his absence, no other freshman has carried the amount of hype through the offseason than Bowden.
Kentucky’s fan day is Saturday morning. The Wildcats will have an open practice afterward.
