Kentucky beat Mississippi State, 40-38, on Saturday and is edging closer to its first bowl bid since 2010.
That’s still not an acceptable reason to cheer for the Wildcats if you’re being raised in a household of Louisville fans.
A Cardinals fan tweeted out a video of his young daughter on Saturday night after she mistakenly cheered for Kentucky instead of Louisville. She immediately felt remorse.
“I said ‘Go Kentucky’ on accident,” the little girl says through tears.

The little girl has likely been happier when watching the Cardinals this year, as they are 6-1 while being led by quarterback Lamar Jackson, a top Heisman Trophy candidate.
