WATCH: Brawl breaks out in first quarter of Kentucky-Louisville game

Every rivalry game is heated. But most don’t result in brawls. Kentucky-Louisville, though? This contest did.

With Louisville driving to go up two touchdowns midway through the first quarter, Heisman winner Lamar Jackson and Kentucky’s Jordan Jones got into it near the Wildcats goal line after Jackson was shoved out of bounds:

Surprisingly, no ejections came from this fracas. Instead, offsetting unsportsmanlike conduct penalties were called, allowing all involved to stay in the game. Louisville would go on to score that second touchdown just a few plays later.

Nearing the end of the first quarter, the Cardinals lead the Wildcats 14-0.
