FOX Sports broadcaster Erin Andrews is in civil court this week to testify against the Nashville Marriott — owned by West End Hotel Partners and operated by Windsor Capital Group — and stalker Michael David Barrett, who filmed her without permission at the hotel.
That stalker, Barrett, served two-and-a-half years of prison time for filming Andrews’ naked body through altered peepholes in Nashville and Columbus, Ohio, and posting the footage online in 2009.
Andrews’ father, Steve, told the Associated Press that the former ESPN star is now a “shell” of herself.
She appeared in court Monday, and revealed that she received a phone call from Kentucky coach John Calipari the night before.
“Love you,” Calipari said, according to Andrews. “Thinking about you. Proud of you, girl.”
