Jared Lorenzen is trying to make a big life change.
The former Kentucky quarterback will be part of a video journal called, “The Jared Lorenzen Project” in which he’ll chronicle his attempt to lose weight. As you can discover by watching the remarkable video below, Lorenzen recently reached over 500 pounds and sought to control his weight. The journal will attempt to inspire others to do the same.
As reported by the Lexington Herald-Leader’s Jared Peck, the project will be guided by filmmaker Anthony Holt. Holt connected Lorenzen with high-profile fitness and nutrition experts, as well as a celebrity personal trainer.
Lorenzen threw for 10,354 yards with 78 touchdowns and 41 interceptions at Kentucky from 2000-03. He was affectionately known as “Hefty Lefty” as he became a standout for the Wildcats.
You can’t help but root for Lorenzen here. This will be fun to follow.
