Kentucky is cruising!
The Wildcats jumped to a 14-0 lead over Missouri in the second quarter Saturday at Faurot Field after a beautiful throw from quarterback Stephen Johnson to wide receiver Jeff Badet for a 65-yard touchdown. The score followed a 60-yard touchdown run from running back Stanley Williams in the first quarter.

Yes, Missouri has struggled lately. But this is an impressive start for Kentucky, which is trying to win its third consecutive game and improve to 5-3.
There’s still plenty for the Wildcats out there. They entered in second place in the SEC East with a 3-2 mark in conference play, a half game behind Florida. The Gators play Georgia on Saturday in Jacksonville.
Significant tests remain for the Wildcats, though. Kentucky closes the regular season with Georgia, Tennessee, Austin Peay and Louisville.
