Kentucky quarterback commit Jarren Williams passed for 2 touchdowns and rushed for 2 touchdowns on Friday night, but he and Central Gwinnett High School (Ga.) finished on the losing end of a 41-34 result.
Williams completed 28 of 46 passes for 365 yards. He added touchdown runs of six and 12 yards and accounted for 4 of his team’s 5 touchdowns.
Central Gwinnett High School dropped to 5-4 on the season and is in danger of missing the playoffs in Georgia’s Class 7A.
Williams is Kentucky’s second-highest ranked commit in the 2018 class. The Wildcats are still fending off other suitors, but Williams remains committed to Kentucky. He’s the No. 8 dual-threat quarterback in the class, according to 247Sports composite rankings.
