Derrick Baity isn’t a wide receiver, but Twitter was blowing up late in the first half on Saturday with people wanting the Kentucky cornerback to play offense as well.
Baity impressed Wildcats fans with an impressive, leaping interception. The sophomore nabbed his third pick of the season, intercepting Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs. The turnover helped keep it a one-possession game at the half, as Kentucky trails, 21-13.

It was quite an eventful first half for Baity. He left with an injury earlier in the game, which was reportedly a shot to the ribs, which required him to be re-wrapped before returning, according to UK Radio:

Baity wasn’t the only Kentucky player to be injured during the first half, as a few other players were banged up early against the Vols.
