Unlike many NBA Draft prospects, Tyler Ulis did not attend the draft Thursday night.
He instead watched with a large group of friends and family in his hometown of Chicago . And while his reaction at the time wasn’t caught on ESPN, his reaction was still priceless, via Kennedy Hardman of WTQV.

Ulis was drafted by the Poenix Suns with the No. 34 overall pick. He joins fellow Kentucky guards Devin Booker, Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and Archie Goodwin, who all also player for the Phoenix Suns.
Prior to the draft, rumors swirled about Ulis having a potential hip injury. Ulis did win SEC Player of the Year and SEC Defensive Player of the Year in his sophomore season at Kentucky.
