Three LSU players that didn’t take the field against Wisconsin will be back in Week 2.
Frank Herron, Dee Anderson and Saivion Smith will all return against Jacksonville State after serving one-game suspensions last week for breaking team rules, coach Les Miles announced on Wednesday.
Herron, a junior defensive tackle, played in 12 games last season, collecting 22 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble as a reserve lineman.
Anderson and Smith, both 4-star recruits, joined the Tigers as part of their 2016 recruiting class.
Anderson came to Baton Rouge ranked as the nation’s No. 37 wide receiver, while Smith was viewed as the country’s No. 48 overall player and No. 5 cornerback prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
