Tyreke Johnson kicked off the opening day of the 2017 recruiting season in a big way.
The Jacksonville, Fla., native, rated four-star athlete and the nation’s top safety by 247Sports, includes LSU in his top four, which also featured Stanford, UCLA and Notre Dame.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound athlete from Trinity Christian Academy has reported 20 offers at this stage in his recruitment. Johnson is a U.S. Army Bowl All-American Game commitment.
LSU offered Johnson in January of 2014, and will have a continued need for safety going into the Tigers’ 2017 recruiting class.
