After originally planning to release his top three after wrapping up his official visits this weekend, D’Andre Christmas-Giles has expedited the process.
The highly coveted four-star defensive tackle announced that LSU, TCU and Texas are currently his three finalists.
Christmas-Giles took an official visit to LSU on Jan. 15, less than a month after picking up an offer from the hometown Tigers.
When discussing the visit, the 6-foot-3, 290-pound defensive tackle told SEC Country: “I got along with the guys pretty well, the football players, and I liked the campus.”
Christmas-Giles took an official visit to TCU on Dec. 4 and to Texas on Dec. 12.
Christmas-Giles is scheduled to make his fifth and final official visit to Ole Miss this weekend. He visited Texas A&M last weekend.
Christmas-Giles’ original top 10 included South Carolina, LSU, Texas, TCU, Ole Miss, Florida, Arkansas, Miami, Texas A&M and Tulane — in no particular order. He released it days before naming South Carolina, LSU, Texas, TCU and Ole Miss as his top five.
The New Orleans product is expected to bring three hats with him to National Signing Day, where he is expected to make his final announcement.
