Damone Clark has scheduled his official visit to LSU.
Clark, Louisiana’s top-ranked linebacker and a longtime LSU commitment, will return to LSU for his official visit on Dec. 8.
The 4-star linebacker will make his first official visit next weekend — to Texas — which has been a team quietly pushing for a flip for several months.
Clark, the nation’s No. 14-ranked linebacker and a top-300 prospect nationally, is also considering making a return visit to Florida, which remains up in the air. As is a visit to Stanford. Clark is expected to officially visit Michigan.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Baton Rouge native is attempting to enroll early. Coaches at Southern University Lab (La.) are trying to make it work, but there is no definitive word just yet. If possible, Clark would ink his letter of intent in December instead of Feb. 7.
