One major need in LSU’s 2016 recruiting class is offensive linemen, and the Tigers just took one step closer to a huge get.
Four-star offensive tackle Jean Delance from North Mesquite High School (Texas) released a top three on Monday night, which includes LSU, Texas and Michigan.
Delance has took an official visit to LSU on Dec. 5 and one to Michigan on Dec. 11. LSU coach Les Miles and offensive line coach Jeff Grimes paid the offensive lineman a visit earlier this month as well.
Delance also holds offers from a number of SEC teams, including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee. However, it appears only the Tigers made the Texas native’s final cut.

Delance is rated as the nation’s No. 10 offensive tackle and No. 15 player in Texas.
