BATON ROUGE, La. — Dylan Moses surprised the world by spontaneously committing to Alabama on his first official visit, then abruptly canceled all of his previously planned trips for the fall.
It turns out that the 5-star outside linebacker made an exception.
Moses, the newly minted Alabama pledge, returned home to Baton Rouge for the weekend and made a stop at LSU for the home game against Southern Miss.
Moses sat atop of LSU’s wish list for the 2017 class, but by firing Les Miles last month cost themselves a chance with the top-ranked linebacker and No. 4 overall prospect.
Even though Moses is committed, it’s certainly a positive sign that he made an exception to stop by Tiger Stadium. He canceled all of his scheduled visits and completely rearranged his fall plans after Miles was fired. Still, it turns out he still has a tie to the hometown team if he came by for this game.
