Ben Simmons let out some of his frustration during Saturday’s embarrassing loss in the SEC Tournament semifinal to Texas A&M, and nobody can really blame him.
Simmons was whistled for a technical foul for slamming the ball to the floor after getting fouled while attempting a shot.

Simmons’ frustration epitomized what was an abysmal game from the Tigers. LSU was obliterated, 71-38, by the top-seeded Aggies. LSU’s performance was the worst offensive showing in Division 1 this season. The Tigers also became the first team since 1985 to fall short of 40 points in the SEC Tournament.
LSU’s NCAA Tournament hopes are gone, but the Tigers may participate in another postseason tournament. If not, Saturday’s contest will represent an awful conclusion to Simmons’ time in Baton Rouge, La.
