With the college football season officially in the books, it officially means that we are into draft season. And like it has in the past, the top of 2017 NFL Draft figures to be dominated by SEC players.
A number of SEC stars are projected to go in the top 10 in the first round, highlighted by Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett. After racking up more than 30 quarterback sacks in his A&M career and consistently displaying feats of incredible athleticism, Garrett is the consensus No. 1 pick.
But according to SEC Network analyst Booger McFarland, it’s another SEC star who will have the biggest impact from Day 1. And that’s LSU safety Jamal Adams.
myles Garrett may be taken 1st overall n the draft but the player thats ready to make the quickest impact is Jamal Adams, unreal football IQ

Adams is projected to go in the 6-10 range in the draft, with teams such as the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers being frequently discussed landing spots for the LSU safety.
McFarland, who was a first-round pick from LSU, spent eight seasons in the NFL and won two Super Bowls.
A defensive back has never been taken with the first overall pick. The last time a defensive end was taken first overall was in the 2014 NFL Draft, when the Houston Texans took South Carolina’s Jadeveon Clowney.
