Listed at 6-foot-3, 235 pounds, the Oxford, Ala., native has the frame to compete for a role early with the Tigers.
LSU’s most recent recruiting run has been incredible. Over the last week, the Tigers have shot up the charts all the way to No. 3 overall in the 247 composite rankings following commitments from cornerbacks Derek Stingley Jr., Dreshun Miller and Cordale Flott, quarterback Peter Parrish and tight end TK McClendon.
McCallum chose the Tigers over offers from Ole Miss, Missouri, Louisville and others. He is the third linebacker in LSU’s 2019 class, and the 18th prospect overall.
