An official update on Saturday’s LSU-Florida game, which is scheduled to be played in Gainesville, Fla., isn’t expected to come until after 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
But with Hurricane Matthew expected to hit Florida hard on Friday, there is a good chance the Gators won’t be able to host the game.

Earlier in the day on Wednesday, Florida coach Jim McElwain proposed the idea of holding the game at the Gators’ indoor facility. The SEC could also either postpone the game, or hold it at an entirely different location.
The game is scheduled for noon on Saturday on ESPN.
