Odell Beckham Jr. has a knack for highlight reel catches, but his cousin knows how to grab your attention, too.
Terron Beckham, the cousin of the former LSU star, is attempting to join the current New York Giants wide receiver in the NFL.
Terron Beckham is a fitness model and body builder, and is considered one of the strongest men on the planet.
Despite any college football experience, he already believes he’s one of the top running backs in this year’s draft class.
“They’re going to get a workhorse,” Beckham told WLNY in New York. “They’re going to get Marshawn Lynch and AP (Adrian Peterson) transformed into one.”
He is currently training for the 2016 National Scouting Combine at TEST Football Academy in Martinsville, N.J., an institute designed for prospects who did not receive an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine.
Beckham measured in at 5-foot-11 and 230 pounds and put up 42 reps of the 222-pound bench press. He also recorded a 44-inch vertical jump.
Both would be records at the NFL combine.
He posted this video of his bench press to Instagram.
Not to be outdone, Beckham also showed how he deadlifts 585 pounds with ease.
For comparisons sake, Odell Beckham Jr. put up seven bench-press reps and registered a vertical jump of 38.5 inches.
Moving 585 like butter … @test_football the time is coming close to my combine debut in less then 2weeks …. It’s our game now, I have a lot of eyes on me and I have to make sure I show out point blank. #neveradissapointment #NFL #bsncombine #beast #demigodmode #SSGodmode #moveweight @innerarmour @alphaclothing @umoro
