BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron said Monday that he expects Leonard Fournette to return to the field against Ole Miss after missing the past two games due to a high-ankle sprain.
“I expect Leonard to be back this week,” Orgeron said. “I expect him to practice today and practice all week and we’ll see how he does throughout the week.”
Orgeron said that Fournette came to his office and said “I’m ready to go.”
Fournette, who went into the year as one of the Heisman favorites, is averaging 128.7 yards per game in the three games he has played this season.
