After the firing of former LSU coach Les Miles and the subsequent naming of Ed Orgeron as interim coach on Sunday, Orgeron’s son, Cody, posted a note congratulating his father before later deleting it.
In the message, Cody Orgeron said: “There’s no other man in this world that worked his hard his whole life for this position. God had a planned for our family this whole time and I couldn’t be a prouder son of my Dad. With that being said, my Dad is the new interim head coach at LSU. GEAUX TIGERS BABY!!!! LET’S GET IT”
Orgeron was the defensive line coach for LSU under Miles until the head coach and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron were sacked Sunday afternoon.
