For the second week in a row, LSU coaches are checking in on the team’s top tight end target for the 2018 class.
Tight ends coach Steve Ensminger and New Orleans area recruiter Mickey Joseph are scheduled to go in-home with 3-star tight end Glenn Beal on Tuesday, he tells SEC Country.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound prospect from John Curtis Christian (La.) School is set to play in the Division I state championship game on Saturday afternoon at noon.
Last week, Ensminger made a visit to Beal’s home on Monday evening. This is the LSU coaching staff’s second visit in as many weeks.
Beal remains the Tigers’ top tight end target in the recruiting cycle. He will officially visit LSU on the first weekend of February and announce his college decision on Feb. 7. LSU is one of three finalists along with Alabama and Arkansas.
