Les Miles is busy in the midst of the summer recruiting hustle and bustle and preseason preparations with camp a scant two months away. But this is still a time for family.
And if a coach will not make time for his family, his family will make time for the coach.
LSU coach Les Miles is an Ohio native. Every time the Michigan opened up, it seemed like Miles was a clear target with his ties to the area. Even though Miles loves chewing the grass in Baton Rouge, his roots are still in the Midwest.
And this is a big time in the Midwest with the Cleveland Cavaliers taking on the Golden State Warriors in Game Six on Thursday night to stave off elimination.
Miles was not planning to be there until his family tricked him and surprised him with tickets to the game. He joined SportsCenter before the game to tell the story of his Fathers’ Day surprise:

The Miles family flew from New Orleans to Dallas and then Dallas to Cleveland to complete the surprise.
He like much of the nation will be enjoying the NBA Finals game tonight from Cleveland.
