Fan Sound Off: LSU beats wind, rain and Tennessee, and fans are pleased

LSU celebrated its eighth win of the season Saturday in Knoxville with a 30-10 victory against Tennessee, which was playing its first game since Butch Jones was fired.

The two teams played a good part of the first half in a torrential downpour with strong winds. The Tigers (8-3, 5-2 SEC) pounded out 200 rushing yards, led by 97 yards and a touchdown from Derrius Guice and 68 yards and 2 TDs from Darrel Williams. Meanwhile, the LSU defense held Tennessee to 38 rushing yards on 34 attempts.

The win is the second consecutive for LSU and fifth victory in its last six games. The Tigers wrap up the regular season Saturday, Nov. 25 at home against Texas A&M.
