Here’s a feel-good story involving a former LSU basketball star.
As reported by TMZ Sports on Thursday, Ben Simmons took part in a touching moment in Philadelphia with a 12-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy. Simmons, who went first overall to the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2016 NBA Draft, surprised the young boy in a gym and made his day. Simmons met up with the boy after hearing the kid was a big 76ers fan, per TMZ Sports.
Check out the action in the link below, including an awesome scene in which Simmons finishes off an alley-oop from the boy.

You have to love it when athletes give back like this. Selfless acts like this off the court stand out, and the boy involved likely will remember it for a long time.
Kudos to all involved.
