A former LSU basketball player is on the move in the NBA.
On Wednesday, the Portland Trail Blazers traded guard Tim Quarterman to the Houston Rockets for cash considerations. Quarterman, 22, played 16 games for Portland as a rookie last season. He averaged 1.9 points, 0.9 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 5.0 minutes.
Quarterman joined Portland as an undrafted free agent on July 25, 2016. The Trail Blazers went 41-41 last season.
