Former LSU punter Jamie Keehn has earned a tryout with the defending NFC champions.
Keehn will try out with the Carolina Panthers during their two-day rookie camp this weekend, according to The Charlotte Observer’s Joseph Person. Carolina is looking to replace punter Brad Nortman, who left the team during free agency.
The Australian punter averaged 42.6 yards per punt during his LSU career, with 39 punts traveling more than 50 yards and 66 punts downed inside the 20-yard line.
Keehn will also be competing with former Florida State punter Cason Beatty at Panthers rookie camp.
