Former LSU running back Terrence Magee is staying with the Baltimore Ravens after the team announced it re-signed him on Wednesday.
Magee, 23, was an undrafted free agent who signed with the Ravens after the 2015 NFL Draft, but bounced on and off the team’s active roster and practice squad for most of his rookie season. He saw time in just three games and finished the year with two rushes for five yards, one reception for two yards and a kick return of 28 yards.
As a player with an expiring contract and less than three years of NFL experience, Magee was an exclusive rights free agent. That meant that only the Ravens could negotiate and make a contract offer to Magee, and if a deal wasn’t reached then the running back would become an unrestricted free agent.
In four years at LSU, Magee tallied 1,330 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns and a career average of 5.9 yards per carry.
