Leonard Fournette went down with an ankle sprain on Tuesday morning, and the horse with his namesake went down with injury as well, according to a tweet from The Advocate reporter Ross Dellenger
Random: Fournette the horse is also hurt. He's on the DL for the fall, says his owner Staton Flurry.
They'll test him in November. #LSU

Fournette, a 3-year-old racehorse owned by die-hard LSU fan Staton Flurry, burst onto the scene last month when he overcame 14-1 odds to win at Belmont Park for a victory in his first career start.
Flurry named the horse Fournette because the thoroughbred was a “big, stout tough looking horse.“
