Former LSU coach Les Miles has a new job as an analyst for Fox Sports calling college football. He took his first crack on Saturday in the booth for Nebraska against Northern Illinois.
According to what’s happening on Twitter, Miles might be showing his conflict of interest a little too much. One of Miles’ sons, Ben, is a freshman fullback for the Huskers.
A 3-star recruit, Ben was the No. 2 fullback in the state of Louisiana. Now, the elder Miles has a vested interest in how Nebraska fares every week. Miles even put on a Nebraska hat on National Signing Day. He also spoke recently at Nebraska’s coaching clinic about potentially wanting to coach again.
Here’s what the social media crowd had to say about Miles’ commentating skills:
Les Miles in the booth?! I like that

Les Miles just said "ass" on TV 😂😂😂

I like how Les Miles calls every player a "son". "Well on this play, you can't blame that son."

Les Miles may never be allowed to commentate another Nebraska game lol. He's fan-itating right now 😂

I'm listening to Les Miles call the Nebraska-NIU game and he knows none of the players names and it's magic. #GrassParty

You'd think Les Miles openly cheering for Nebraska on the broadcast would help. But…no. 🙅🏼♂️

Les MIles’ reaction I mean color analysis to uncalled pass interference is so coach: “Wait a minute are you kidding me!"

Les Miles is just as terrible a commentator as he was a coach. He's openly cheering for Nebraska on @FS1 and it's a joke.

Somebody please tell Les Miles you're not supposed to openly cheer from the press box. I've never heard anything like this.
