Leonard Fournette is apparently a betting man, and now he’ll have to pay his debt.
After challenging safety Jamal Adams that he would not be able to pick off Brandon Harris during Thursday’s spring practice, Adams proved his running back wrong.
The junior intercepted Harris for a touchdown and cashed in on a bet that earned him 100 pushups from Fournette and a steak dinner, compliments of the Heisman Trophy hopeful.
“Pick 6,” Adams tweeted. “B. Harris, I can’t thank you enough! What time we heading to dinner!? (Fournette).”
Adams’ pick may come as a surprise to some, as Harris was a strong decision-maker last season and threw only six interceptions.
However, Adams led LSU with four interceptions, though none were returned for touchdowns.
LSU’s spring practice sessions just got a whole lot more interesting, as a competitive Fournette may certainly try to get back at Adams after losing their first bet.
