If his words are too believed – and who wouldn’t believe a college football coach about a job opening? – Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher won’t be leaving Tallahassee for Baton Rouge.
Fisher on LSU: "I'm here at Florida State, I love it at Florida State and we have a lot of work to get better here." https://t.co/VyFlQgV6G2

With Les Miles being let go on Sunday, high-profile coaches like Fisher should get used to questions about the LSU opening. That’s not going away.
There are many reasons fans of the LSU Tigers would want Fisher, who is 71-15 in seven seasons (for an .826 winning percentage) with Florida State, winning the 2013 national championship. Miles was 114-34 for LSU (.770).
But we know what coaches say isn’t usually related to what they do, you might cross Fisher’s name off the list with just a pencil for now (and lightly), and not with a pen.
