Bryant, 37, never played college basketball and entered the 1996 NBA Draft at age 17. In 20 seasons with the Lakers, Bryant earned two NBA Finals MVP awards, 18 trips to the All-Star game and he trails only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.
Bryant scored 14 points with four assists and three rebounds in the 110-102 loss to the Pelicans.
