Leonard Fournette could have braces removed before Alabama game
Nobody can call LSU tailback Leonard Fournette a nerd any longer. The sophomore may pay a visit to his orthodontist as part of his preparation for next weekend’s game against Alabama and could be heading to Tuscaloosa, Ala. braces free.
Fournette admitted he had missed previous appointments to have his braces removed and said he plans to finally make an appointment during LSU’s bye week, according to The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger.
The running back might be sporting a new look for next weekend’s game, which he labeled a “clash of the titans.” The braces haven’t harmed Fournette’s running ability. Fournette leads the nation with an average of 193 rushing yards and has established himself as the front-runner in the Heisman Trophy race.
Fournette may need to brace himself for next weekend’s game against the Crimson Tide. Alabama has allowed just 78.5 rushing yards per game this season.
