Les Miles has coached road games at some of college football’s most intimidating sites, including Bryant-Denny Stadium, Jordan-Hare Stadium and Neyland Stadium. The LSU coach said he expects Syracuse’s Carrier Dome to be the most hostile of them all when the Tigers visit Saturday.
Miles might be a bit disappointed by the crowd. The Carrier Dome holds 49,250 people, which is not even half of what Alabama’s stadium holds. The Orange only drew 27,949 people at its last home game against Central Michigan, according to Syracuse.com.
Syracuse’s home atmosphere may feel more like a high school game to LSU players, but don’t tell Miles that.
Miles says #LSU expects the Cuse crowd to be "biggest loudest, aggressive away stadium."
