Here’s one more thing people can bet on this season besides the Heisman or the national championship: Les Miles’ job security.
Bookmaker.eu has released its odds for whether or not Miles will still be the head coach at LSU on Dec. 31. Miles is currently favored at -320 to hold onto his job. The money line for him to lose his job is set at +240.
Miles honestly may be happy with those odds. LSU, regarded in the preseason as one of the favorites to win the SEC and go to the College Football Playoff, lost its season opener to Wisconsin on Saturday, 16-14. The days have been full of talk about him being on the hot seat.
Earlier this week a fan started a GoFundMe page to pay the buyout in Miles’ contract. That page has currently raise $425 of its $1 million goal.
