Les Miles may no longer be employed at LSU, but that won’t stop him from cheering on his now former players from afar.
LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette went on the “LSU Sixty” podcast on Sunday night to address the events that unfolded following Miles’ dismissal from the program.
“These are the tough days in college athletics,” Bonnette said on the podcast. “I will give Coach Miles a lot of credit. …
“I don’t know if there was a dry eye in the room. He said he’s forever a Tiger and he said, ‘Y’all go run the table.’ … I would expect nothing less, that’s who he is.”
Miles was fired after 12 years coaching the Tigers. They have started this season 2-2 after losing to Auburn, 18-13, on Saturday.
