Davon Godchaux has put pen to paper.
On Tuesday, the former LSU defensive lineman agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins after the franchise made him the No. 178 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Godchaux becomes the sixth player in the Dolphins’ draft class to sign.
Check out the sight from the big moment below.

Godchaux enters an interesting situation with Miami. He already has received strong NFL advice from five-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, with Suh telling him, “shut your mouth up and learn.”
There’s a chance for Godchaux to make an impact early. He ranked fourth among Tigers players last season with 62 tackles. Of that total, 8.5 were for loss and 6.5 were sacks. The previous season, he had 9 tackles for loss and 6 sacks.
It should be fun to follow Godchaux’s NFL career.
