A few friendly jabs between teammates never hurt anyone.
On Saturday, two Tampa Bay Buccaneers players, former LSU linebacker Kwon Alexander and former Ole Miss defensive end Channing Ward, posted Instagram messages that made their rooting interests known for the matchup between the Tigers and Rebels on Saturday at Tiger Stadium.
Alexander started the banter with a photo of him tackling an Ole Miss player coupled with a strong message as the caption. Shortly after, Ward responded with a picture showcasing a standout moment for him against LSU. The “BeatLSWho” hashtag is a nice touch.
You can bet someone will have bragging rights in the locker room at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday when the Bucs play the San Francisco 49ers.
The LSU-Ole Miss game is a big one for both programs. The Tigers (4-2) will try to win their third consecutive game under interim coach Ed Orgeron. Ole Miss is coming off a defeat to Arkansas and will fall to 3-4 with a loss.
