Count the governor of Louisiana among the people who would like to see Les Miles remain LSU’s coach.
Governor Bobby Jindal took to Twitter to express his support for Miles, whose future with the program has become quite the saga in the past week.
.@LSUCoachMiles is a great coach and a better man. He is a fantastic ambassador for our state. I hope he remains our coach.

There have been several reports that Miles’ days as LSU coach are numbered, but one earlier Saturday that he might have a chance to survive. That report said “political forces” above LSU athletic director Joe Alleva could keep Miles in Baton Rouge, La.
LSU (7-3) has lost three straight games, and plays Texas A&M in the regular-season finale at Tiger Stadium on Saturday night.
