We’re just under 72 hours until Rashard Lawrence makes his college announcement.
Will it be LSU or Ohio State — that remains to be seen — but as the anticipation builds, even the five-star defensive tackle’s teachers are having a little fun with him.
The Neville High School (Monroe, La.) teachers played a bit of trick — or treat — with Louisiana’s No. 1 prospect. They left Zappo’s potato chips with LSU packing on his desk beside a package of Harry London Buckeyes.
So, will it be the Tigers or Buckeyes?
“Game on,” Lawrence tweeted. “Man, I love my teachers.”
Lawrence is expected to make his decision on Thursday and hold an announcement on Friday morning.
The nation’s No. 5 defensive tackle officially visited LSU this past weekend and is expected to receive in-home visits from both the LSU and Ohio State coaching staffs between now and Wednesday.
SEC Country will have full coverage of Lawrence’s announcement on Friday morning.
