We’re less than 100 days out from LSU’s season opener against Wisconsin, which will be held at storied Lambeau Field.
The excitement is real, and everyone can feel it … even LSU athletic director Joe Alleva.
In describing the non-conference tilt, Alleva called LSU’s Sept. 3 showdown a “bucket-list type game” to GridIron.now.
“I think it’s going to be a great experience for everybody,” Alleva told the site.
That includes both the LSU fans that will travel to the Badger State, as well as those that already reside in the area.
LSU’s athletic director thinks that the coaches will have a dynamic impact on those in Wisconsin, including in the realm of recruiting.
In fact, Lambeau Field could soon being heralded as Lambeaux Field once the Purple and Gold roll through.
“I’m sure our coaches use that (in recruiting),” Alleva said. “I really like having them on the schedule. I think it’s almost imperative to do that.”
