Gametime Announcement

LSU vs. Alabama

BATON ROUGE, La. — The game time has been announced for what could be the year’s marquee matchup in the SEC West when Alabama visits LSU on Nov. 5.

The Tigers and Crimson Tide will kick off at 8 p.m. EST at Tiger Stadium. The game will be broadcast on CBS.

Both teams will go into the game off of bye weeks. The Crimson Tide (8-0, 5-0) maintained their perch at No. 1 after beating Texas A&M 33-14 this week.

LSU (5-2, 3-1) will try to become a factor in the SEC West race with an upset of the Tide. LSU is up to 19th in both polls following a 38-21 win over Ole Miss.

Alabama has won the last five meetings with the Tigers dating to the 2011 BCS Championship Game, but LSU has built momentum and improved offensive creativity in winning its first three games under interim coach Ed Orgeron.
