After a weekend visit, CamRon Jackson now holds an offer from LSU.
The offer came in on Monday evening when Jackson called up coach Ed Orgeron After a brief exchange, the 4-star defensive lineman received the offer and was overwhelmed with emotion.
“Its been a dream school since I was young. This feels so good,” Jackson told SEC Country on Monday night. “Coach O talked to me and asked me ‘Did I want to be a Tiger?’ He’s going to call [Haynesville] coach David Franklin to talk to him tomorrow, but for now, I feel good.”
The 6-foot-4, 273-pound North Louisiana standout attended the Tigers’ spring game on Saturday night along with his cousin and 2019 3-star defensive line verbal Joseph Evans.
Jackson is a top-200 prospect in the 2020 class. He ranks as the No. 12 defensive tackle in the nation and a top-10 prospect in Louisiana.
