This is great news for LSU.
On Monday, Tigers coach Les Miles said running back Leonard Fournette’s left ankle has “no swelling” following a victory over Mississippi State last Saturday, as heard by SEC Country’s Nick Suss. Fournette, who missed the win over Jacksonville State on Sept. 10, returned with 147 yards on 28 carries and two touchdowns against the Bulldogs.
Miles seemed optimistic about Fournette’s potential the rest of the season. The coach said the running back should continue to get better and that the Tigers are looking forward to the player making a difference in the coming weeks.
LSU faces Auburn on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
